So much more than just a back rub
Almost anyone can simply rub your back and make it feel good for a short time. However, it takes thought, training and knowledge, combined with skill, to provide a remedial massage which can make a clinical difference.
Since 1947, we've included the use of heat and massage as an important part of our overall treatment experience prior to the chiropractor doing any other work on the body. The reasons have always made sense to us and most people that we treat agree.
Sometimes however, a person may prefer to have just a massage without any chiropractic treatment, or perhaps they want a longer than usual massage prior to their chiropractic visit. That’s where our remedial massage comes in.
During a remedial massage you become part of your own treatment experience, as you are guided by the massage therapist through specific stretches and specific muscle work. The goal of all of this is to gain a therapeutic benefit, and to actually improve body and muscular function.
